The Green Bear Farm began operating in 2012 with a goal of producing as large a variety of foodstuffs and farm products as possible for a smaller number of families than a traditional, larger-scale farm. Currently we offer over 125 types and varieties of vegetables, a dozen fruits as well as eggs and various types of poultry and meat.
We also produce "homestead" style products from the farm, including small-run maple and birch syrup, honey, dairy products, dried teas and medicinal herbs as well as homemade beauty products.
We moved in 2017 to Kouchibouguac, New Brunswick where we operate on 175 acres of pasture and forest surrounded almost exclusively by crown lands. Our new farm includes almost 2km of private river frontage as well as three small ponds that are fed by a natural spring.
We believe in organic environmental practices and in growing the local food chain. We invite anyone interested in our products, a tour of the farm, or anyone interested in getting involved in any of our projects or with our land, to e-mail us at
The Green Bear Farm supports local food chains and a local barter economy. Any farm or homestead operation looking to trade goods/produce/seeds or just come by and look around, we would be happy to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org
